Nickole
Founder & Owner
With over a decade of experience working with young children, Nickole founded Sunny Corner with a passion for creating a warm, nurturing bilingual environment. She is involved in curriculum planning, classroom design, and the overall vision of the preschool, with a focus on helping children learn and grow through play, exploration, and meaningful everyday experiences.Â
Michael
Head Administrator & Preschool Manager
Michael oversees the day-to-day operations of Sunny Corner. He has completed De Anza College’s Child Development Certificate of Achievement, providing formal coursework in early childhood development, teaching practices, and working with young children and families. He supports daily operations, family communication, program organization, and the overall learning environment.
A Qualified & Prepared Team
Health, safety, and preparedness are an important part of our program. Our teachers have experience working with young children and bring a genuine passion for early childhood education to their work each day. All staff are CPR and First Aid certified, maintain required immunizations, and meet applicable California childcare licensing requirements, helping us provide a safe, attentive, and supportive environment for every child.
Our Sister Program: Bilingual Daycare
Sunny Corner is closely connected with Bilingual Daycare in San Jose, sharing a core philosophy of play-based learning, bilingual exposure, and hands-on exploration. While we share a heart for meaningful relationships, Sunny Corner builds on that foundation with a preschool-focused environment, offering an expanded curriculum, dedicated learning stations, and educational experiences specifically tailored for the preschool years.
